Town residents complain after 50-second firework display

A Scottish town has been offered a second chance to watch a fireworks display after a glitch earlier this month meant the spectacle was over in just 50 seconds.

Pyro1, the company behind Oban’s short-lived display, promised to return to hold a free show for the town.

The Edinburgh-based firm inadvertently created a viral video sensation when its November 4 firework display came to a swift end when all its fireworks went off at once.

Sunday night’s five-minute long “Obang” display was being given free of charge due to the original glitch.
