Yemen's President expected to transfer power for immunity

Yemen's President has arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he is expected to sign a deal to transfer power to his deputy.

It was reported on Monday that Ali Abdullah Saleh had agreed to a UN-backed plan to stand down in return for immunity from prosecution.

Hundreds of people have died during several months of violence following a popular uprising against President Saleh's rule.
