Man tells girlfriend that internet date woman is 'burglar'

A man invited a woman to his home, then reported her as a burglar – after his girlfriend turned up unexpectedly.

Police in Colorado Springs said two-timing Kevin Gaylor’s girlfriend came home just before the woman was due to visit.

Police said Gaylor had invited the woman, whom he met online, to come to his home after 3am so they could get better acquainted - but his girlfriend came home first.

When the other woman arrived, Gaylor called police and falsely reported an intrusion.

He was cited with a misdemeanour of false reporting to authorities.
