Golf-themed cemetery opens

A US funeral parlour has opened a golf-themed cemetery.

Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Funeral Home has created Memorial Golf Park, which has a capacity for more than 1,200 graves, a fairway, sand trap and a 820 sq ft green, for those who are keen to be buried in a "golf setting".

Arne Swanson, market director for Dignity Memorial's Seattle Region, said: "At SCI, we strive to serve families and individuals by celebrating lives with individually designed and themed experiences.

"We are proud to be a leader in this area, and Sunset Hills Golf Hole Memorial is a great example of our approach."
