Once bitten…

A Malaysian taxi driver whose ear was bitten off by his Vietnamese wife has had his application for a new bride rejected by a matchmaking agency.

Chin Weng Seng, 61, had demanded a full refund of the 125,500 Vietnamese Dongs (€4,332) which he paid for his Vietnamese bride, 29, but said he was willing to pay another 33,000 Dongs (€1,139) if the agency could give him a replacement.
