Spiritual master sells tours to 'heaven' to meet deities and angels

A spiritual master is selling tours to "heaven".

Master Kek Eng Seng, leader of the Tze Bei Guan Yin Centre, is charging visitors RM150 ($47) each for the three-hour journey on which people can supposedly meet deities, angels and their relatives.

He recently offered tours to "hell" during the Hungry Ghosts Festival - but both activities have come under fire from religious groups.

Dr Loh Hock Hun, chairman of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (Penang Regional Centre), explained: "There is no such thing as visiting hell or heaven. Do good and chant prayers so that you can earn merit and lessen your suffering."
