Scientists overturn Einstein's speed of light law

Scientists say they have recorded sub-atomic particles travelling faster than the speed of light.

The finding could overturn one of Einstein's long-accepted fundamental laws of the universe, that nothing travels faster than light in a vacuum.

They say measurements taken over three years showed tiny particles pumped from Switzerland to Italy arrived 60 nanoseconds quicker than light would have done.
