Man delivered dino doodle for sambo compo
A UK supermarket customer was shocked when he was compensated with a hand-drawn picture of a dinosaur after complaining.
Bill Bennett wrote to Marks & Spencer to ask for a refund after he was charged £3 for a £1.90 salmon sandwich - but when he had not received anything he wrote again and requested a "hand-drawn picture of a smiley dinosaur" to make up "for the inconvenience".
Customer adviser Steve Jones sent a £5 gift card and the picture with a note attached that read:
"Please also find a picture of a smiling dinosaur, hand drawn.
"Unfortunately art was never my strong point, but I hope you will appreciate it."
