Israelis stage cost-of-living demo

Israelis have begun gathering in the country’s three largest cities for what protesters predict will be the largest of months of demonstrations against the rising cost of living.

Tonight’s demonstrations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa mark the climax of a summer-long grassroots protest movement.
