Chinese tourist site rewards virgins

A tourist spot in central China's Hunan Province is handing out free tickets to virgins over 22 years old.

The Zhouluo Scenic Area in Liuyang of Hunan Province has declared it will grant free entry to those 22 and older who have never engaged in sexual intercourse as a gesture of kindness towards the female community.

Zhou Lushen - marketing director for the Zhangjiajie Tourism Group, which manages the Zhouluo Scenic Area - explained the organisation will be "trusting" the honesty of the women who try to obtain free tickets.

He told the Chengdu Evening News: "We can't afford to distribute free tickets to all women, so we had to single out a group to represent females.

"Of course, we cannot examine women for proof of their virginity, so we are simply trusting in their honesty."
