Greece denies reports of rift with EU-IMF officials
Greece has denied reports of a rift with EU-IMF auditors who cut short a visit after noting Athens had failed to meet targets to unlock more rescue funding.
The Greek finance minstery is insisting the second instalment from the €110bn bail-out loan is not at risk.
However it is understood officials from the EU/ IMF and ECB are now demanding additional measures worth €1.7bn to make up a shortfall.
A leaked report yesterday from a Greek budgetary watchdog warned the country's massive debt was out of control with the country falling further into recession.
