Pet shop offer 'Speed Petting' sessions
A British pet shop is putting on 'Speed Petting' sessions.
The initiative - which is reminiscent of speed dating - allows customers at Creature Company's Wimbledon store in London to have two minutes with each pet before they pass them on to the next person.
People can try up to 15 animals before they decide which one to buy - and shop owner Sebastian Latour is hoping the idea will give busy customers the chance to find out about new critters.
He said: "The public tend to go for traditional pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters, but I want to show them there are some fantastic creatures out there which should be given a chance to impress."
