Cluttered dashboards adding to driving hazards

A new survey says dashboard clutter is causing danger for some motorists.

Around a third of van and truck drivers polled had between 11 and 30 near misses due to obscured views in the past year.

Research by Autoglass discovered fast food packaging, cuddly toys, newspapers and coffee cups are among the most common items that cause difficulties.
