Teenager survives sword extraction from skull

A Chinese teenager has survived after having a huge sword pulled from his skull.

Zhang Bin, 15, was stabbed by a pal with the weapon, which penetrated 5cm deep into his forehead, but he was forced to go on a four-hour journey to hospital after his local doctors refused to operate claiming they were too inexperienced.

He explained: "Three classmates came to visit me at home and one of them brought a sword. He stood 3-4 meters away from me.

"I don't know how the sword could fly to me and stab into my head. I felt sharp pains and a large amount of blood streamed down."
