Quake hits Japan, no danger of tsunami

A strong earthquake has hit northern Japan in the same area as the one that left 22,000 people dead just a few months ago.

A strong earthquake has hit northern Japan in the same area as the one that left 22,000 people dead just a few months ago.

So far, there have been no reports of damage or injuries following the quake, which had a magnitude of 6.4.

Geogolists have said there is no danger of a tsumani and the Fukushima nuclear plant has not been affected either.
