Man turns helicopter into caravan
A British man has bought a helicopter and turned it into a caravan.
Father-of-three Tim Johnson purchased the former Royal Navy machine for £5,000 and now plans to kit it out in army gear and surround it with sandbags and an army shelter at his Blackberry Wood campsite, near Ditchling in East Sussex.
He said: "Everyone is queuing up to get in there. There are lots of kids on the site pleading with us to let them go in.
"It will be even more impressive when we have finished it."
Campers hoping to stay in the helicopter will have to fork out £60 a night, plus a charge of £5 and £9 per person.
