NOTW 'to go out with a bang'

News of the World editor Colin Myler offered a rallying call to his journalists today as the newspaper prepared to go “out with a bang” with its final edition.

In a personal email to those who have returned to their desks for the final time, he told staff: “It’s not where we want to be and it’s not where we deserve to be. But I know we will produce a paper to be proud of.”
