Cosy at best
A Polish architect has designed a house that is just 60 inches wide.
Jakub Szczesny has created the plans for the abode, believed to be the world's narrowest home, that features each floor going back by 40ft – and the structure is able to fit in between two tower blocks in Warsaw, Poland.
A house in Great Cumbrae, known as 'The Wedge', off Scotland’s North Ayrshire is currently believed to be the narrowest, measuring 47 inches across the front, but it stretches to 22ft at the back.
However, the Polish abode is still being called the narrowest, as one of Jakub's workforce explained: "Ours is the same all the way through, so we are narrower for longer."
