Man flies to Australia 10 days after skull op
A British man flew to Australia just 10 days after having a big chunk of his skull replaced.
Peter Wright had to have a melon-sliced section replaced with plastic because his brain was being squashed after he was knocked down by a car while on a business trip in London.
He even had to sleep on the floor at the airport due to his flight to Australia, where he went to watch the Ashes cricket tournament between England and Australia, being delayed.
Speaking about the crash, Peter - who has a 10cm scar as a result of his operation - said: "I was left for dead and it is only because of the brilliance of the surgeons and nurses that I'm still here.
"The fact they have been able to fix me and give me a new lease of life is a miracle."
