Family of five evicted by spider

A spider forced a British family to leave their home.

Mandy and Darryl Ryan and their three children had to move out of their house in Crosby, Merseyside, for eight days, after what was thought to be a deadly Brazilian wandering spider was found in a bunch of bananas.

Mandy said:"I opened the bag and the spider was sitting on top.

"I thought it was dead so I took a few photos of it. Then all of a sudden it jumped over my hand."

The creepy-crawly was captured and given to a pet shop before the family moved back in.
