Apology tattooed on man's head

An American man arrested for assault has an apology tattooed across his head.

Suspect Robert Norton amused police officers with his strange body art when he had his booking picture taken in Horry County, South Carolina.

In the photograph the remorseful message can clearly be seen covering the 51 year old's bald head, along with religious declarations.

The apology reads: "Please forgive me if I say or do anything stupid. Thank You!"

Higher up on his scalp is inked "With God All Things Are Possible " and "God Loves You".
