Authorities in the UK fine skating dog

A skateboarding dog has landed his owner a $130 fine in the UK.

Jonathan Fell has been given 14 days to pay the amount after two women complained to Brighton council that his canine companion Bodhi tripped them up as he wheeled through the street.

A hit on the internet, the pooch has appeared on talent television show 'Britain's Got Talent' showcasing his skating skills.

A spokesperson for the council said: "When people start getting hurt and we receive complaints we have a legal duty to act.

"Bodhi remains free to skate in local parks - but not in dog-free areas."
