British girls go shopping in their underwear

Girls turned up to a shopping centre in only their underwear in return for vouchers in the UK.

The first 100 women to enter Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex wearing only their bras, knickers and high-heeled shoes were awarded with a gift card for £100 (€112.23).

As long as they were over the age of 18, any girl could enter the promotion staged to launch the centre's spring fashion range.

The retail centre promised entrants that if they turned up half-nude they could "leave fully clothed in a fabulous new look for the new season".
