New York vegetable row reveals many layers

A political argument has broken out in New York over whether the onion should be named the city's official vegetable.

A bill was proposed in the state senate by politician David Carlucci to give the smelly food a place in the US city's history - but Michael Nozzolio argues that the honour should go to sweetcorn instead.
