Court jails Eta pair for 377 years over bomb murder bid

Spain’s National Court has convicted two members of Basque separatist group Eta of attempted murder and sentenced them to 377 years in prison.

Judge Manuela Fernandez de Prado found Idoia Mendizabal and Asier Arzalluz Goni guilty of attempting to assassinate Esther Cabezudo, deputy mayor of the northern town of Portugalete.
