Fish mutate in polluted US river

Fish have mutated to live in a polluted river in the US, it has emerged.

After nearly 30 years of dumping from General Electric plants upriver in New York, the Atlantic tomcod which dwell in the mucky Hudson River have evolved to survive its toxic conditions.
