Quake rocks Chile

An earthquake measuring 5.8 magnitude has hit central Chile.

It has struck about 50 miles south of the city of Concepcion and the epicenter of the quake was 19 miles deep.

In February 2010, Chile was hit by a massive 8.8 magnitude quake and resulting tsunamis that caused widespread devastation.
