Thousands march against corruption in India

Thousands of people holding placards and shouting slogans have protested in India’s capital against what they called widespread corruption and poor governance.

At least 5,000 people marched today through central New Delhi to show their anger over recent scandals that hit Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government.
