Skiers in Austria rescued from cable cars
Emergency crews are rescuing about 90 skiers from cable cars in Austria after they came to a standstill because of a technical problem, officials said today.
Werner Laimgruber of the Kasberg-Bahnen company that runs the cable cars says the effort is going smoothly and that no one was hurt in today’s incident in central Austria’s Grunau-Kasberg ski area. He said those rescued were being taken to nearby lodges.
