World's first tram sauna in Milan

The world's first tram sauna has opened in Milan.

Public transport designers say the carriage – which is located in a spa resort in North Italy – has all the features of an original vehicle, including a pitched roof and open window views but also comes complete with hot coals and benches and is no longer in operation.

A spokesman for QC Termemilano , the company who created it, said: “People can get very stressed travelling through a city centre.

“This innovative design is to show that not all public transport is frustrating. It can be somewhere to relax.”
