Suicide bomber kills four police recruits in Baghdad

A suicide bomber killed four police recruits and wounded 10 others in a crowd of people seeking jobs with Iraq’s security forces in Saddam Hussein’s home town today, police said.

A city policeman said the blast happened near a police station and a park on the outskirts of the city of Tikrit, some 130km north of the capital, Baghdad.
