Man attacks French embassy in Mali

An unidentified attacker hurled a home-made bomb and fired several gunshots at the French embassy in Mali’s capital, wounding two Malians.

The blast from the explosive device appeared to be small, however, and caused only minor damage to an outer gate of the building.
