A murder investigation was under way in Britain today after police discovered a kidnapped man dead in a house with head injuries.
The man, in his 30s, was forcibly removed from his home address in Edgware, north London, at approximately 5pm on Sunday, detectives said.
He was reported missing, but discovered dead at around 1am the following day, in a property in Burton Road, Kilburn, north west London. Police said he had been beaten prior to his death.
A post-mortem examination carried out on the victim’s body gave cause of death as a head injury.
His next of kin have been informed, but police are awaiting formal identification.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman in connection with the incident on Tuesday. Both were bailed pending further inquiries.
