Limousine stolen from wedding
A wedding limousine was stolen from outside a church during a wedding in the US.
The stretched car was still occupied by six bridesmaids when the thief smashed the window and started threatening the driver outside the Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Church in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
The bridesmaids managed to get away and entered the church without alerting the bride and groom to the panic outside and spoiling their big day.
The driver was, however, still inside as the car as it drove off, though he was dumped by the side of the road shortly after.
Witness Karl Kammann said: "The girls got out and ran. It was chaos. Right out from under the wedding party! What a way to get married."
After exchanging vows, newlyweds Jillian Sherlock and Nikhil Pereira emerged from the church to find its front cordoned off with police tape. Another limo was, however, promptly dispatched to take them to their reception.
Police believe the culprit had broken into a nearby house and hijacked the limo as his getaway car.
