Croatian prime minister Jadranka Kosor has survived a no-confidence vote in parliament, with the opposition blaming her for the nation’s economic decline and corruption in the upper echelons of her party.

Parliament voted 79 to 62 in Ms Kosor’s support, 15 votes short of what was needed to oust her in the 151-seat chamber. Her conservative Croatian Democratic Union has a majority in parliament.
