Eleven held after London teen stabbed to death
Eleven people were arrested in London today after a 17-year-old was stabbed to death, police said.
The teenager was fatally injured early this morning after reports of a disturbance in Mill Hill, north west London.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police launched a murder inquiry and said they are retaining an open mind as to the motive.
Police were called at about 12.25am after reports of a disturbance at Bray Road, close to the junction with Bittacy Hill.
âOfficers attended the scene and discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the torso,â a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
âHe was taken to Barnet General Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.â
The victimâs family have been informed.
Police said all 11 of those arrested were male but did not release further details.
