21 killed as bus plunges into Indian river

At least 21 people died when a crowded bus veered off the road and plunged into a river in central India, a news agency said today.

Press Trust of India said rescue workers scouring the river pulled out 21 bodies from the Bagdi River in Madhya Pradesh state overnight.
