Cameron's father dies after suffering stroke

The British Prime Minister David Cameron's father has died after suffering a stroke on holiday.

A Downing Street spokesman has said Ian Cameron passed away earlier this afternoon in hospital in France. He was 77.

David Cameron, his brother and sister flew out to be with their parents this morning.
