Jackie Onassis half-brother 'to admit child porn charges'

James Auchincloss, half-brother of the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, will plead guilty next week to child pornography charges, prosecutors said today.

Jackson County deputy district attorney David Hoppe Auchincloss will appear in court on Wednesday in Medford, Oregon.

Mr Hoppe says Auchincloss will plead guilty to two felony counts of encouraging child sex abuse, a charge that is generally brought against people possessing child pornography.

Auchincloss was indicted a year ago after his long-time personal assistant Edward McManus told investigators he had seen Auchincloss and a co-defendant, Dennis Vickoren, viewing pictures of naked boys in sexual poses at Auchincloss’s home.

Vickoren also is scheduled to plead guilty.
