Russia accuses US of violating nuclear treaty

Russia’s foreign ministry has accused the United States of violating its obligations under bilateral nuclear arms reduction treaties and failing to properly safeguard radioactive materials.

The foreign ministry claimed in a statement that the US has breached its duties under the 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
