Moat's ex discharged from hospital, sells story

The former girlfriend of gunman Raoul Moat has been discharged from hospital.

Twenty-two-year-old Samantha Stobbart was shot at the start of Moat's campaign through Northumberland in England.

He went on to kill her new partner. Policeman David Rathband who was also shot, has lost his sight.

Publicist Max Clifford confirmed Ms Stobbart had sold her story to the News of the World for "a six-figure sum".
