Catholic bishop murdered in Turkey

A Catholic bishop was stabbed to death in Turkey today, a day before he was due to meet the pope.

Luigi Padovese, the pope’s apostolic vicar in Anatolia, was attacked outside his home in the Mediterranean port of Iskenderun.
