Clinton insists N Korea should pay for ship attack

US secretary of state Hillary Clinton said today that North Korea should face international consequences over the sinking of a South Korean warship.

Arriving in Tokyo ahead of a visit to Beijing and Seoul, Mrs Clinton said that the US, Japan, South Korea and China are consulting on an appropriate reaction to the international investigation that blamed North Korea for the incident.
