Late Polish president's twin aims to replace him

Polish opposition party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski is to stand in the presidential election called after his twin brother was killed in a plane crash.

The election will be on June 20 after President Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria and 94 others were killed April 10 in a plane crash in Smolensk, Russia, en route to a Second World War remembrance ceremony. The president’s term was to expire in December.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski said he wants to continue the mission of his brother.
