Taliban kidnap UN workers

Five UN workers were kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan today in the same northern province where four German soldiers were killed.

Their disappearance in Baghlan province followed twin bombings yesterday targeting foreign companies in the southern city of Kandahar that killed at least three people.
