Cameron: Clegg had 'good debate'

British Conservative Party leader David Cameron said rival Nick Clegg had a “good debate” as he gave his verdict on last night’s historic televised leaders’ confrontation.

Mr Cameron said the event had been a “good thing” for democracy and the Conservatives had been “vindicated” over their calls for the debates between the party leaders.
