Aftershock hits Chile

A strong aftershock with a magnitude of 6.8 has struck Chile's quake-stricken city of Concepcion.

Reports say the tremor sent people running into the streets in their nightclothes.

The USGS said the aftershock hit just after 6am local time.

Dozens of aftershocks have been recorded in Chile since Saturday's 8.8-magnitude quake.
