Shuttle leaves International Space Station

The shuttle Endeavour left the International Space Station and headed home today, leaving behind a nearly-complete outpost with the best ever windows on the world.

The shuttle undocked as the two craft soared more than 200 miles above the Atlantic, just west of Africa's Western Sahara.
