Iran opposition leader defiant after new threats

Iran’s opposition leader was defiant today in the face new threats – including calls by hardliners for his execution – and said he was ready to die in defence of the people’s rights.

Mir Hossein Mousavi’s remarks came after the worst unrest since the immediate aftermath of disputed June presidential election.
