The Homeland Security Committee plans to vote tomorrow on whether to subpoena reality TV hopefuls Michaele and Tareq Salahi to give evidence.

The Virginia couple refused the committee’s invitation to appear at a hearing last week.

The Salahis were not on the guest list for a White House state dinner honouring the Indian prime minister last month, but got in anyway.

Secret Service director Mark Sullivan said normal security protocols were not followed in the incident and three Secret Service officers have been placed on administrative leave.
